Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and train a team of 3-4 kitchen staff, including food and beverage servers and kitchen helpers.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
- Food Preparation and Service
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and wastage.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Certifications
- Smart Serve certification.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods and physical demands. The ideal candidate will be a team player with flexibility and a strong work ethic.
Language and AvailabilityThe successful candidate will be fluent in English and available to work a variety of shifts, including on-call work. Public transportation is available.
