Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at 1309996 Ont Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 kitchen staff, including food and beverage servers and kitchen helpers.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure that team members are meeting their responsibilities and achieving their goals.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food handling and preparation procedures are followed to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food storage areas to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control waste and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work with the restaurant team to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
  • Certifications
    • Smart Serve certification.
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
