About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Service Team Member at McDonald's Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food items to order, including burgers, fries, and salads.
    • Portion and package food items for customers.
    • Serve customers at the counter or through a drive-thru window.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen areas, including equipment and utensils, are clean and sanitized.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area and restrooms.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
    • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and store inventory, including food and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    • Operate kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
