Addiction Treatment Program Coordinator

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community is a leading provider of specialized support services for individuals with addiction challenges. We are seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:The Admissions Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Admissions team to oversee and facilitate assessments and admissions for clients to our Residential Addiction Treatment Program. This is a full-time contract position, approximately 6 months in duration, with 35 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate all assessments and admissions for the residential treatment facility in their portfolio
- Use bio-psycho-social assessment skills and provincial assessment tools to conduct comprehensive assessments
- Provide crisis intervention and referral to crisis agencies as needed
- Liaise with referral sources and connect with collateral contacts to gather client information
- Manage the client wait list and determine bed availability
- Attend Community Assessment Team meetings for federal and provincial correctional assessments
- Complete referrals to community agencies and client addendums, reports, and documentation as required
- Completion of a University Degree relevant to mental health, addiction, or social services
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in addictions mandatory; experience in mental health/concurrent disorders and trauma an asset
- Previous experience in residential treatment an asset; previous experience in correctional field an asset
- Previous experience with justice-involved individuals preferred; lived experience related to addictions and/or mental health an asset
- CSC Clearance conducted by PWGS Canada; valid G Driver's License, held for a minimum of 3 years; satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record; reliable Vehicle (own transportation required)
