We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Underwriter to join our team at First National. As a Mortgage Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving mortgage applications, ensuring that they meet our company's policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze mortgage applications to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines
- Make credit decisions on mortgage applications, taking into account risk assessment and due diligence
- Build and maintain positive relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge, competition, and market trends
- Completed post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of PC software in a Windows environment
