ROLE OVERVIEW:

Are you enthusiastic about guiding and nurturing a team of Sales and Education Managers (SEMs)? In the capacity of Senior Manager for Sephora Collection, you will oversee strategic initiatives and conduct business analysis of market trends to enhance sales and attract new clients. You will become a Sephora Collection brand authority, mastering brand essence, product knowledge, inventory management, and merchandising strategies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with business leaders and the North American Sephora Collection team to drive sales and execute our strategic objectives. Join us to delve into our business strategies and achieve sales goals for Sephora Canada.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a leader, mentor and develop a team of SEMs to execute business and sales strategies tailored to their respective markets and approve in-store strategies and business plans.
  • Design and implement brand strategies through education, events, and brand activations across Canada, while creating customized, market-specific plans.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports utilizing company tools and platforms to inform strategies, while reporting on sales, expenses, and other requests, and evaluating results for all events conducted within Canada.
  • Oversee and manage travel and entertainment, training payroll, and education/event budgets to ensure compliance with monthly budget targets.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and develop actionable plans for the ongoing growth of each direct report.
  • Actively engage in various meetings, contributing to Sephora Collection brand initiatives while planning, hosting, and facilitating regional conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of relevant sales and education leadership experience in a retail setting.
  • Adept at problem-solving and leveraging analytical skills to devise creative solutions, demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative to support the overall field team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in Zoom, video conferencing, and social media for presentation and training purposes.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoying collaboration with cross-functional teams while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Apple technology.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with up to 75% travel required to various locations; must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for education, training, events, sales support, and brand activations; capable of standing, walking, and moving for 4-6 hours daily and lifting up to 50 lbs.
