ServiceNow Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Solutions Architect to join our Service Management Technology team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the ServiceNow platform to support our Service Management objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Process Flow Analysis and Redesign: Participate in analyzing and redesigning business processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and architecture for the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
- Custom Demonstrations: Perform custom or out-of-the-box demonstrations as required to showcase ServiceNow capabilities.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise and industry best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
- Functional Design Document: Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements.
- Technical Specification: Collaborate with other Technical Architects to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
- Effort Estimates: Participate and provide inputs to effort estimates to ensure accurate project planning.
- ServiceNow Knowledge: Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and utilization of available training.
- Self-Motivated: Self-motivated with a proven track record in ServiceNow technologies and comfortable in a dynamic technical organization.
- Organized and Analytical: Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent preferred.
- ServiceNow Experience: Advanced experience with ServiceNow configuration and custom development.
- ServiceNow Modules: Broad experiences with a wide range of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITAM, IRM, and SecOps).
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Business Requirements: Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
- Web-Based Systems Architecture: Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture, and experience managing expectations and priorities.
- Project Methodologies: Familiarity with project methodologies and ability to participate in and lead projects.
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in professional services or customer support operations.
- ServiceNow Implementation: 3-6 years of ServiceNow systems integration and/or implementation experience.
- Solutions Consulting: Proven Solutions consulting experience.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to simplify complex solutions.
- Business Architecture: Nice to have business architecture experience.
