Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Operations to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Supervise Warehouse Staff: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Meet Shipping Deadlines: Ensure that all shipments are processed and dispatched on time, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Error-Free Sorting: Implement and maintain processes to ensure that sorting is performed accurately and efficiently, with minimal errors.
  • Execute Daily Dock Production Targets: Plan and manage resources to achieve daily dock production targets, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Review and Analyze Daily Working Hours: Review and analyze daily working hours of all employees, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Validate and Produce Daily Operation Report: Validate and produce a daily operation report, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for Warehouse Equipment: Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and operated, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Other Related Tasks: Perform other related tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years' Experience in Employee Supervision: Proven experience in supervising employees in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Good Geographical Knowledge of Quebec: Strong knowledge of the province of Quebec, including its geography and transportation networks.
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for business use.
  • Bilingualism: Fluency in both English and French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and Resourcefulness: Demonstrate strong leadership and resourcefulness, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Good Management of Priorities: Prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AS400: Proficient in Microsoft Office and AS400, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Great Organization Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage resources effectively.
