Culinary Operations Supervisor

Position Summary
As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will assist the restaurant manager in managing the kitchen activities of a dining establishment with moderate sales volume. Your role will involve overseeing non-management team members, implementing culinary enhancements, and ensuring operational efficiency within the kitchen. This position requires active participation in daily kitchen functions and reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.
Primary Duties
- Ensure optimal staffing levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen area.
- Oversee kitchen personnel and effectively assign tasks.
- Provide training to culinary staff and ensure adherence to recipes.
- Perform self-assessments and guarantee that food expediting is executed properly.
- Keep track of preparation sheets and manage inventory levels.
- Assess staffing requirements and support team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School diploma; Red Seal certification is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen management is essential.
- Understanding of product quality standards and team leadership skills.
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and customer service practices.
