A supervisor is a key leader in our organization, responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating employee workloads to ensure productivity and quality standards are met in a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule workloads to ensure resources are available when needed.
  • Assign work schedules, monitor work progress, and communicate any deviations.
  • Coordinate workload distribution, establish priorities, and assume responsibility for day-to-day activities related to assigned tasks.
  • Ensure quality of work meets minimum standards of the organization.
  • Create and maintain a general awareness amongst staff of quality standards and promote the importance of quality.
  • Supervise, account for, and direct all direct reports, including selection and hiring, orientation and training, and supervision and attendance management.
  • Maximize department output by minimizing operating costs through a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure area of responsibility is safe and that all employees receive proper training to ensure maximum safety in the workplace.
Requirements
  • High school and/or technical school diploma.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial paint processes and materials is an asset.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a management or supervisory position.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in aviation or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Availability to work evening shifts and weekends (Saturday, Sunday, Monday).
