About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Edo Japan - Woodgrove. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, using a range of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including cleaning equipment and utensils, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in a team-oriented setting.
