About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Professional to join our team at Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant and bar environments.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
