We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at KS Concrete Cutting & Coring Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Prepare layouts and use measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deadlines.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with exposure to confined spaces, noisy conditions, and dusty environments.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
