Drywall Installer Job Description

Shalimar Construction Company Limited is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
  • Apply joint compound to seams and joints, and sand to a smooth finish.
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands. You must be able to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
