Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Designer Student to join our Water Infrastructure team. As a Civil Designer Student, you will work on complex projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and apply your academic learning in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and engineers in the preparation of design drawings and technical information for civil municipal projects.
  • Assist in CAD design of municipal infrastructure, including electrical drawing development for wastewater and water treatment plants, sewer, watermains, and roads.
  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables.
  • Compile design drawings and prepare design submissions and other technical documents.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology degree co-op program at an accredited college.
  • Strong CAD skills, with experience in AutoCAD/MicroStation.
  • Positive team attitude and approach, results-oriented, and ability to work independently.
  • Passion for learning, challenges, and your field of study.
  • Interested in innovation, sustainability, safety, and quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
