Hatch is a leading global engineering and infrastructure company that is passionate about creating a better world through positive change. We are seeking a talented Structural Designer Student to join our team in Oakville, ON.

As a member of our Infrastructure, Water group, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects around the world, collaborate with diverse teams, and apply your academic learning in a dynamic office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers and engineers in the preparation of design drawings and technical information for civil municipal projects.
  • Assist in CAD design of municipal infrastructure, including electrical drawing development for wastewater and water treatment plants.
  • Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for municipal infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology degree co-op program at an accredited college.
  • Strong CAD skills, with experience in AutoCAD/MicroStation.
  • Positive team attitude, results-oriented, and ability to work independently.
