Exciting Opportunity at Hatch

Hatch is seeking a talented Structural Designer Student to join our team in Oakville, ON. As a member of our Infrastructure, Water group, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects globally and contribute to the creation and construction of our cities.

We are looking for a self-motivated student with strong CAD skills and experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation. You will be responsible for supporting project managers, project engineers, and designers in the preparation of design drawings and other technical information for civil municipal projects. Your tasks will include assisting in CAD design, performing assignments, and coordinating with other technicians and related disciplines.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology degree co-op program at an accredited college
  • Strong CAD skills and experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation
  • Positive team attitude and approach, results-oriented, and ability to work independently
  • Passion for learning, challenges, and your field of study
  • Interested in innovation, sustainability, safety, and quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
