Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain shops, facilities, and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Equipment Preparation: Assist in setting up equipment and preparing it for use.
  • Coating Application: Apply coatings to equipment and surfaces as required.
  • Confined Space Work: Perform confined space work, including fire watch and confined space duties.
  • Vessel Operations: Assist in docking and undocking vessels.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning and degreasing.
  • Assistance: Provide assistance to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Security Clearance: Must undergo a pre-employment government security clearance/background check.
  • PPE: Must wear full PPE, including a fit-tested respirator mask.
Qualifications:
  • Fall Protection: Must have fall protection training.
  • WHMIS: Must have WHMIS training.
  • Forklift Operation: Must have a forklift ticket (asset but not required).
