Key Responsibilities- Collect and process laboratory samples from patients, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Prepare laboratory samples for analysis, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, such as urinalysis, under the supervision of a qualified laboratory professional.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and laboratory services.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a recognized laboratory assistant training program.
- One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
