We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a key member of our Multi-Function Lab department, you will be responsible for obtaining and preparing specimens for routine analysis, performing various laboratory tests, and working collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
Perform routine Hematological, Microbiological, Biochemical, and Immunohematological testing
Collaborate with the Chief Medical Technologist to ensure accurate and timely test results
Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
Graduate of an approved school of Medical Laboratory Technology and current Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science registration
One year recent related experience
Experience in all laboratory disciplines preferred
