Medical Laboratory Assistant II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory team in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process laboratory samples from patients
- Prepare laboratory samples for analysis and perform simple tests
- Work under the supervision of the Chief Lab Technologist to ensure accurate and timely results
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Grade 12
- Successful completion of a recognized Lab Assistant training program
- One (1) year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
