Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a key member of our Multi-Function Lab department, you will be responsible for obtaining and preparing specimens for routine analysis, performing various tests, and working under the general direction of the Chief Medical Technologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and prepare specimens for routine analysis
• Perform various routine Hematological, Microbiological, Biochemical, and Immunohematological testing
• Work under the general direction of the Chief Medical Technologist

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Medical Laboratory Technology and current Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science registration
• One year recent related experience
• Experience in all the above disciplines preferred
