Position Overview:
We are currently on the lookout for a skilled and driven Accounts Payable Analyst to enhance our finance team. This role is designed to support our Accounts Payable operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with established financial protocols. The successful candidate will be instrumental in facilitating smooth financial transactions and maintaining robust vendor relationships.
- Adhere to corporate policies and accounting standards while processing vendor invoices and employee expense claims.
- Execute payment runs in a timely manner.
- Prepare journal entries related to fixed assets, intangible assets, and prepayments.
- Address vendor inquiries and internal client requests with professionalism.
- Maintain audit schedules and assist in year-end financial audits.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in finance or accounting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with a paperless Accounts Payable system is preferred.
- Experience in managing accounting process transitions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in accounting software.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
