About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Portfolio Operations Analyst to join our Institutional Portfolio Operations team at CC&L Financial Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate investment portfolio data to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile various items, including cash, transactions, holdings, futures, and derivative products.
  • Communicate with custodians, prime brokers, portfolio managers, and key personnel to investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
  • Communicate critical portfolio information and oversee the flow of sensitive information for all CC&L affiliates.
  • Work with auditors to provide accurate and timely data for audits of our institutional client accounts.
  • Communicate with custodians and prime brokers to set up daily delivery of external files for reconciliation purposes and to resolve data-related issues.
  • Participate in operational projects focusing on automation, efficiency, and scalability of IPO's services.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an institutional investment firm, bank, or trust company focusing on investment operations and reconciliations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
