Work Environment:

At Peoples Group, we provide a flexible hybrid work setting. This role entails a mix of in-office and remote work, typically during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, with adaptable start and end times.

We are looking for candidates who are willing to relocate if necessary to ensure a commutable distance from our offices.

The position includes on-call responsibilities, serving as an escalation point during critical incidents.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in embedding security within our software development and deployment processes. Your expertise will ensure that security measures are integrated from the outset and maintained throughout the application lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating security requirements to product teams and validating implementations prior to deployment.
  • Promoting CI/CD best practices and solutions.
  • Developing action plans to enhance CI/CD tools and platforms.
  • Designing and implementing security solutions for cloud environments across various platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Conducting Threat Modeling and Risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats early in the development lifecycle.
  • Establishing a Security Center of Excellence for new products and significant changes to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies in cloud security and automation, applying innovative solutions to strengthen our security framework.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevSecOps role or similar.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AZ-400.
  • Proficiency in various DevSecOps tools, including Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and Git.
  • Familiarity with information security frameworks (NIST, CIS, CCM).
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS and SOC standards.
  • Experience with cloud-native security tools and technologies.
