Role OverviewThe Senior Security Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in advancing Twilio's security framework. As our responsibilities expand, we seek a seasoned professional to elevate our security initiatives. This position requires extensive knowledge in enterprise security, a quick grasp of technical details, and the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will:
- Collaborate with different business units to strengthen security measures across the organization.
- Enhance the capabilities and processes of a growing security team.
- Conduct threat assessments, architectural evaluations, and risk analyses to promote security best practices throughout enterprise solutions.
- Formulate security standards, protocols, and policies.
- Lead significant projects from inception to completion as a subject matter expert, applying industry best practices to address complex security challenges.
Essential:
- Over 5 years of experience in the information security domain.
- At least 3 years of experience in enterprise security or security engineering roles focused on enhancing enterprise security systems.
- Proficiency in operating system and endpoint security.
- Experience in threat modeling and conducting architectural reviews.
- Skilled in gathering and analyzing logs and telemetry data.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in security technologies and issues.
Preferred:
- Background in designing and implementing security best practices for cloud-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Familiarity with the design and execution of Zero Trust architectures and solutions.
- Experience in SaaS application security, including risk assessment and improvement initiatives.
This position is remote, allowing flexibility in your work location.
