Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Tj's Pizza Moosomin. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including packaging take-out food, preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sharpen kitchen knives and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Permanent full-time position.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
