About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Tj's Pizza Moosomin. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, including packaging take-out food and stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as handle and store cleaning products.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
  • General Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
What We Offer
