Position Overview

As the Spa Facilities Maintenance Leader, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Regional Hydrotherapy Facilities Manager in the upkeep of Kananaskis Nordic Spa, ensuring exceptional water quality across all pools and hot tubs. Your leadership will guide the team in maintaining all mechanical systems and facilities to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Facilities Manager in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Oversee daily operations of pools and hot tubs to comply with health regulations
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks and work orders efficiently
  • Establish and execute preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing maintenance concerns
  • Monitor facility operations and manage inventory
  • Train and oversee maintenance personnel

  • Act on behalf of the Facilities Manager when required

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations
  • Experience in pool management and mechanical services
  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office software
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to mentor and develop team members
  • Relevant post-secondary education and certifications
Work Environment
  • Shift work with prolonged periods of standing or sitting, requiring strong communication skills
  • Physical labor involving manual dexterity and handling of chemicals
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions

Supervision of the Spa Facilities and Maintenance Team

Eligibility Requirements
