Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Spa Pool Operator to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our Nordic Spa facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the pools, saunas, steam rooms, and outdoor areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Conduct regular water quality tests and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal pool chemistry.
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the spa facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with other spa team members to achieve excellent guest satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in spa or hotel maintenance is preferred.
  • Current Certified Pool Operators (CPO) license is required.
  • WHMIS and First Aid (including CPR) certifications are also required.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle pool chemicals responsibly.
  • Good judgment around safety and guest experience.
  • Comfortable with technology and open to new learning.
