Accounts Payable Clerk Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Sonova. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for processing daily emails and AP-related mail, coding invoices, and reconciling vendor statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage daily AP-related tasks, including email and mail correspondence
  • Coding and assigning invoices to applicable departments for approval
  • Reconcile vendor statements to balances in vendor ledgers
  • Apply entries in vendor ledgers and post adjusting journal entries
  • Process cheque payments and communicate with vendors and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of payable-related documents
  • Assist in implementing a paperless environment
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Previous Accounts Payable experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and internet
  • Experience with a computerized accounting system

  • Annual salary range: $42,000-$45,000 per year based on experience
