We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Sherwood Park. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure the quality of our food.

Tasks:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is managed effectively.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
Supervision:

You will be supervising a team of 3-4 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
