The Principal Consultant for Workday HCM Integrations within Global Application Managed Services (AMS) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in post-production Workday environments. This role demands a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic setting and is well-versed in managed services frameworks. As a Principal Consultant, you will leverage your functional expertise and business acumen, maintaining a focus on the broader business context while embodying a hands-on approach to your work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the onshore lead, overseeing Functional and Technical workstreams for designated accounts.
  • Implement and execute various Application Managed Services (AMS) and implementation methodologies in Workday Functional and Technical engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Delivery Center (GDC) team on daily operations, incident management, root cause analysis, and other service requests.
  • Provide on-call support and coverage during holidays as necessary.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Service Level Agreement (SLA) constructs and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with both external and internal stakeholders to maximize business impact.
  • Enhance the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
  • Proactively identify and develop reporting dashboards to optimize Workday utilization, creating solutions that support metrics for HR and the broader business.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and resolve issues that may affect project scope or timelines.
  • Maintain the Workday platform with an emphasis on reporting (including scheduled reports), business process management, security administration, data loading, and audits.
  • Ensure system design aligns with user needs.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables, maintaining consistent communication with vendors and project teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement of business processes across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Corporate Applications, with at least 3-5 years in client-facing roles within a global delivery model.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience specifically in Workday Integrations.
  • Expert-level understanding of Workday Integrations is essential.
  • Workday certification is required.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to going above and beyond to resolve client issues.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the capability to address complex incidents and provide best practice recommendations.
