As a Community Support Advocate, you will engage with adults with developmental disabilities, empowering them to lead independent, safe, and fulfilling lives within their communities. Your role will involve ensuring that each individual's support plan reflects their holistic needs and aspirations, aligning with KACL's core values and mission. This role fosters an environment where individuals feel secure, empowered to make choices, and experience a sense of belonging and opportunity to flourish.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Be an integral part of a team delivering services to individuals in various communities.
  • Engage directly with adults with developmental disabilities and their families to facilitate access to essential services and support.
  • Advocate for the rights of adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination of services, including skills assessment and resource management.

Salary: Annual salary of $75,130.
