About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales professional to join our Scotia Dealer Advantage team in Canada. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the Manitoba Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive sales growth and expand our customer base in the assigned market area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth and expansion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a sales capacity, preferably in the automotive finance industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive finance marketplace in Canada and a detailed understanding of key prospects, major customers, and competitive positioning.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned market area.
Working Conditions
- Work in a standard office-based environment with non-standard hours.
- Extensive travel within the assigned market area and limited national travel.
