Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Food Fight BBQ. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to optimize restaurant profits and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training to ensure that our team members are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
  • Set schedules and manage labor costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Determine menu offerings and implement operational procedures to ensure that our customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
  • Balance cash and complete financial reports to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently.
  • Cost products and services to ensure that we are getting the best value for our customers.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to operate at a high level.
  • Ensure that our restaurant is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure that our team members are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage events and special occasions to ensure that our customers receive a memorable dining experience.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
