Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Property Assessor to join our team at BC Hydro. As a Property Assessor, you will be responsible for evaluating the value of properties for taxation purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate properties to determine their market value for taxation purposes.
  • Conduct site visits to assess properties and gather data.
  • Research and analyze market trends and sales data to determine property values.
  • Prepare and present assessment reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in property assessment or a related field.
  • Hybrid work arrangement.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
