About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Payroll Manager to join our Human Resources Department at Toys R Us Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our payroll strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage and maintain payroll systems, including data entry and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes
  • Provide expert guidance and support to employees on payroll-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, ensuring our payroll practices remain compliant
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a national or multi-site environment
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including tax and benefits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
