We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at IKON Complete Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, including day-to-day operations, process standardization, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payroll activities across Canada utilizing Ceeidian Dayforce HCM & ADP WFN
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of company earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability payments, and non-taxable wages
- Prepare year-end employee tax slips or forms and submit government filings to meet deadlines
- Identify areas of improvement within the payroll process and lead the implementation of new payroll processes and systems
- Lead a team of payroll administrators, including delegating, reviewing work, training, and coaching
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records by adhering to legal and ethical standards
- Ensure high level of professionalism to safeguard employee privacy
- 5+ years of payroll management experience
- Knowledge of payroll legislation of the Provincial & Federal Tax Regulations
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is preferred
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce HCM & ADP WFN
- Advanced understanding and experience in accounting principles, practices, and general ledgers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, mathematical, and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail
