Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Filoxenia Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals in our hotel, motel, and resort settings. This includes managing kitchen staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. The role requires standing for extended periods and working in a physically demanding environment.
