Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform quality assurance evaluations of program-related functions in accordance with established SOPs;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and standard operating procedures;
  • Record quality assurance findings using approved documentation formats;
  • Maintain, archive, and ensure easy retrieval of quality assurance records;
  • Address quality assurance observations within set timelines;
  • Report critical or significant quality assurance issues and collaborate with departmental management for further investigation as needed;
  • Track and report relevant metrics, including quality assurance reviews, to program and senior management;
  • Assist in the development and execution of corrective action plans as necessary;
  • Work closely with program teams and senior management to meet customer expectations;
  • Prepare for and participate in external audits as required;
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to specific programs and internal processes;
  • Engage in meetings with program teams and other supporting departments;
  • Facilitate applicable training sessions as assigned;
  • Adhere to CB Canada's confidentiality and privacy policies;
  • Report all adverse events to the designated units or departments;
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned;
  • May be required to be on standby or on-call as part of this role.


Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor of Science or equivalent in a relevant business or scientific discipline is preferred;
  • Typically requires a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role;
  • At least three years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or CRO sectors;
  • Quality professional certification from a recognized organization is an advantage;
  • Familiarity with documentation management tools.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficient in relevant technologies, tools, and software;
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail;
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships;
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
