Key Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Perform quality assurance checks on program-related activities and services in accordance with established SOPs;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and standard operating procedures;
- Record quality control findings using approved documentation formats;
- Maintain, archive, and ensure easy retrieval of quality control records;
- Address quality control observations within set timelines;
- Identify and escalate critical quality control issues, collaborating with departmental management for further investigation as necessary;
- Track and report key metrics, including quality control reviews, to program and senior management;
- Assist in the development and execution of corrective action plans as needed;
- Work closely with program teams and senior management to meet customer expectations;
- Prepare for and participate in external audits as required;
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to specific programs and internal CB Canada processes;
- Engage in meetings with program teams and other departments;
- Facilitate relevant training sessions as assigned;
- Adhere to CB Canada's Confidentiality and Privacy Agreements;
- Report all adverse events to the designated units or departments;
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned;
- May be required to be on standby or on-call as part of this role.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor of Science or equivalent in a business or scientific discipline is preferred;
- A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role is typically required;
- At least three years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors;
- Quality professional certification from a recognized organization is advantageous;
- Familiarity with documentation tools is beneficial.

- Demonstrated sound judgment and critical thinking capabilities are essential;
- Exceptional organizational skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills;
- Proficient in relevant technologies, tools, and software;
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail;
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to build effective relationships;
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
