Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform quality assurance checks on program-related activities and services in accordance with established SOPs;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and standard operating procedures;
  • Record quality control findings using approved documentation formats;
  • Maintain, archive, and ensure easy retrieval of quality control records;
  • Address quality control observations within set timelines;
  • Identify and escalate critical quality control issues, collaborating with departmental management for further investigation as necessary;
  • Track and report key metrics, including quality control reviews, to program and senior management;
  • Assist in the development and execution of corrective action plans as needed;
  • Work closely with program teams and senior management to meet customer expectations;
  • Prepare for and participate in external audits as required;
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to specific programs and internal CB Canada processes;
  • Engage in meetings with program teams and other departments;
  • Facilitate relevant training sessions as assigned;
  • Adhere to CB Canada's Confidentiality and Privacy Agreements;
  • Report all adverse events to the designated units or departments;
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned;
  • May be required to be on standby or on-call as part of this role.


Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor of Science or equivalent in a business or scientific discipline is preferred;
  • A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role is typically required;
  • At least three years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or CRO sectors;
  • Quality professional certification from a recognized organization is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with documentation tools is beneficial.

  • Demonstrated sound judgment and critical thinking capabilities are essential;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient in relevant technologies, tools, and software;
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail;
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build effective relationships;
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines;
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
