Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform quality assurance evaluations of program-related activities and services in accordance with established SOPs;
  • Ensure strict compliance with all organizational policies and procedures;
  • Document quality assurance findings using approved reporting formats;
  • Maintain and archive quality assurance records for easy retrieval upon request;
  • Provide quality assurance feedback to address findings within specified timelines;
  • Report critical or significant quality assurance issues and collaborate with departmental management for further investigation as needed;
  • Track and report relevant metrics, including quality assurance reviews, to program and senior management;
  • Contribute to the development and execution of corrective action plans as necessary;
  • Work closely with the program team and senior management to meet customer expectations;
  • Prepare for and participate in external audits as required;
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to specific programs and internal CB Canada processes;
  • Engage in meetings with programs and other supporting departments;
  • Assist with training as assigned;
  • Adhere to CB Canada's Confidentiality and Privacy Agreements;
  • Report all adverse events to the designated units or departments;
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned periodically;
  • May be required to be on standby or on call as part of this role.


Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related field is preferred;
  • Typically requires a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role;
  • At least three years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or CRO industries;
  • Quality professional certification from a recognized organization is an asset;
  • Familiarity with documentation tools is beneficial.

  • Demonstrated sound judgment and critical thinking skills are essential;
  • Excellent organizational capabilities;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient in relevant technologies, tools, and software;
  • High adaptability and flexibility;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and voicemail;
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships;
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines;
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required.
