POSITION SUMMARY

The Partnership Marketing (PM) division plays a crucial role in generating revenue for our organization. The PM team is responsible for delivering exceptional value to partners while safeguarding and enhancing our partnership revenue. The Account Coordinator will achieve this by fostering strong relationships, aligning with our partners' business objectives, and providing both contractual and innovative value.

This role will emphasize:

  • Grasping the unique business needs of each partner and discovering methods to fulfill their objectives.
  • Serving as a creative innovator for tailored strategies and solutions.
  • Continuously observing trends across the sports, entertainment, leisure, and service sectors for inspiration from best practices applicable to our operations.
  • Supporting partner initiatives across all organizational properties.
  • Consistently tracking value delivery throughout partnership agreements and ensuring the fulfillment of all contractual benefits and beyond.
  • Maintaining a visible presence at home games and traveling as necessary for relationship enhancement and value delivery, prioritizing in-person interactions with partners.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with both existing and prospective partners.
  • Assisting the management team in strategizing for business and relationship expansion.
  • Collaborating on innovative ways to generate new value for current partners, renewing and extending those relationships proactively, and increasing investment from existing partners.
  • Identifying upselling opportunities and effectively converting them.

YOU BRING:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as business administration or marketing.
  • Experience in sponsorship activation, promotions, ticket sales, and marketing, ideally within professional sports or an advertising agency.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with a disciplined approach to managing multiple projects and administrative responsibilities.
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A dynamic, hardworking team player attitude with the capacity to work independently.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • A solid understanding of and commitment to uphold our core values of discipline, respect, excellence, attitude, and mindset.
  • The willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
