About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at BK Painting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all painting projects are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, and repair cracks and holes to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Paint Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, and conventional spray painting machines.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on colours and choice of wall coverings, and provide expert advice on painting techniques and materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the painting industry.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colours, and physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Work Environment

As a Construction Painter with BK Painting, you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial sites. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces, and will be exposed to odours and other environmental hazards.
