M KABIR CONTRACTING INC. is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
- Wall Covering and Finishing: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and apply finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Client Consultation: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide expert recommendations to ensure their satisfaction.
- Equipment and Safety: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan your work to ensure timely completion.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of your work.
- Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
