About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at M KABIR CONTRACTING INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, taking into account the client's preferences and design requirements.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, ensuring they achieve the desired look and feel.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary to ensure safe access to high areas.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the painting trade.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling. Steel-toed safety boots are a must.
