Position Overview: As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and managing staff to ensure efficient daily operations within our facilities. Your leadership will contribute to the development and adherence to operational standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in directing the operations of the Maintenance and Operations department.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of physical plants, buildings, and grounds.
- Coordinate small construction projects and manage service contracts to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Engage in job analysis and workflow planning to optimize staffing and resource allocation.
Qualifications: We invite candidates who possess the following:
- A valid certification as a Journeyperson or relevant post-secondary education in Maintenance and Operations.
- A minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
- A commitment to fostering a culture of safety, ethical practice, and organizational well-being.
- Proficiency in the National Building Code and familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Additional language skills, particularly in French, are considered advantageous.
Work Schedule: This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 75 hours bi-weekly.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this role is $50.19, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
