The Opportunity

Zurich Canada is seeking a highly skilled AVP Pricing Actuary to lead the pricing process for Transactional Accounts. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert actuarial support and advice to business partners, driving insights into risks, performance, and business implications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the pricing process for Transactional Accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide professional actuarial support and advice to business partners, including risk analysis and performance insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models and tools to support pricing and risk management.
  • Train and mentor less experienced personnel to ensure knowledge transfer and development.
Requirements
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associates Degree, or equivalent international certification.
  • Eight or more years of experience in the Actuarial area, plus FCAS or equivalent international certification.
  • Thirteen or more years of experience in the Actuarial area, plus ACAS or equivalent international certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multiple functional areas, including pricing, reserving, and capital management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
