About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fabric Salesperson to join our team at Mook Fabrics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on fabric selection and recommend products to meet customer needs
  • Operate cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Assist in visual merchandising and display of fabrics
  • Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
